Terms of Service
Staging draft for owner and legal review. This page is not approved and is not on the live site. Items marked “Owner review” or “Legal review” must be confirmed or completed, and the final text should be reviewed by a qualified attorney, before it is published.
Effective date: October 21, 2026. This policy applies from that date. It does not change the terms of any agreement made before that date unless the agreement says so or the law allows it. [Legal review: the effective date (October 21, 2026) is earlier than the date this draft was prepared and will be earlier than its publication on the live site; confirm whether the effective date should instead be the live publication date]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of nexsteps.us (the “website”), operated by NexSteps, LLC (“NexSteps”, “we”, “us”), which operates under the name NexSteps Digital Solutions. By using the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to request services, enter into an agreement or make a purchase with NexSteps. If you act for a business or practice, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
2. Using the website
- The website provides information about our services and lets you send us requests. Content may change without notice.
- Please give accurate information in our forms and do not use the website for anything unlawful, to send spam or malicious code, or to interfere with its operation.
- Do not send patient health information, manuscripts, passwords or payment card details through website forms.
3. Requests, quotes and proposals
Submitting a form, requesting a quote, selecting a package or requesting a meeting does not create an order, a booking, a contract or a charge. Services begin only after you approve a written proposal or agreement. Prices and package descriptions on the website are offered subject to that written agreement. If a written agreement with you conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.
4. Deposits
- Any deposit amount and the payment milestones are stated in your proposal.
- If NexSteps cancels before work begins, we refund your deposit.
- After work begins, if the agreement ends, NexSteps keeps only the amounts earned for work performed and costs properly chargeable under your agreement and applicable law, and refunds any balance.
[Legal review: confirm how a deposit is handled if the client cancels before work begins; the approved decisions cover cancellation by NexSteps only]
5. Recurring services and cancellation
Recurring services, such as Meds & More and NexSteps SignAge, renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel by giving 30 days’ written notice before the next renewal, sent to hello@nexsteps.us. There is no separate cancellation fee. Before your service ends we will tell you what final charges apply. Any exception to these terms will be stated in your written agreement. [Legal review: confirm how “30 days’ written notice before renewal” works with mid-cycle notices, and confirm compliance with automatic-renewal disclosure and consent laws before online recurring billing is enabled]
6. Meds & More
- Meds & More packages are offered at $999 per month (Package 1: Scheduling + SEO), $1,199 per month (Package 2: Scheduling + SEO + Social) and $1,499 per month (Package 3: Premium Scheduling + SEO + Social + Video & Website Growth).
- The Virtual Scheduling Clinic Assistant is a human-led administrative service covering routine administrative calls, appointment scheduling and rescheduling, and message-taking and routing.
- The service does not include clinical advice, emergency handling, triage or clinical decisions. These remain the practice’s sole responsibility.
- Service hours and content quantities are agreed in writing with each practice. The packages do not include 24/7 service, unlimited calls, EHR integration or guaranteed results. AI-assisted calling is not part of the current packages.
- Where a service may involve patient information, a business associate agreement or other required agreement is put in place before the service begins.
7. NexSteps SignAge
SignAge introductory packages, hardware and billing terms are described on the SignAge page. Selecting a package sends a signup request only; nothing is charged online. Your price, start date and billing terms are confirmed with you in writing before anything is charged. Some SignAge features are in development, as explained on the SignAge page. Hardware returns are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Books Marketplace and Sell Your Books
- NexSteps connects buyers and sellers only. We do not take payment for marketplace books and we are not a party to the sale. Price, payment, delivery and any returns are arranged directly between the buyer and the seller.
- Sellers confirm that they own or are authorized to sell the copies they list and to use the cover image they upload, and authorize NexSteps to review and display approved listings.
- NexSteps may decline, edit for clarity, or remove any listing. Listings are not public until approved.
- Seller terms, including the planned 10% marketing commission, are agreed with each seller before a listing goes live.
9. eBooks
- Not yet on sale. NexSteps eBooks are not currently available for purchase. We will offer an eBook directly only when we hold the rights to distribute it that way.
- Before you buy. Delivery and refund terms will be shown before checkout.
- Licence. When you buy an eBook, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it for your own use. You may not copy, share, redistribute or resell it, or make it available to others, except as the law allows. All other rights stay with NexSteps or the rights holder.
[Owner review: digital sales must stay disabled until title rights, files, secure delivery, payment processing and refund handling are verified]
10. Billing errors
If you think you were billed incorrectly, please tell us within 30 days of the charge at hello@nexsteps.us. We will investigate promptly and correct any error we find. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law or with your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
11. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, design and logos, belong to NexSteps or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except as the law allows. Ownership of work we create for clients is set out in the client’s written agreement.
12. No guarantees
We work to improve the things our clients can control, but we do not guarantee search rankings, leads, patients, sales or revenue.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, NexSteps is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or rights that cannot be limited or waived by law. [Legal review: attorney to review this section]
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you. [Legal review: decide whether to add a venue or dispute-resolution clause]
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
